We were very concerned that they were going to total it because of the age of the car but we were very lucky. The cost to repair was $2200. Ouch! It came back a few days ago and it looks great. Hopefully the car will last us a few more years.

Car Accident
So...if you don't know by now, Gavin and I were in a car accident a few weeks ago. A guy pulled out in front of me at an intersection and I hit him. The damage was mostly cosmetic and no one was hurt but it did shake me up. He was clearly at fault and was ticketed so his insurance payed for all of the repairs.
We were very concerned that they were going to total it because of the age of the car but we were very lucky. The cost to repair was $2200. Ouch! It came back a few days ago and it looks great. Hopefully the car will last us a few more years.
